THE COMPANY AND SITUATION:
A dynamic, up-and-coming property investment company requires someone with strong experience in SQL Server for a database management, administration and reporting role. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Essential:
The following experience is essential for this role:
• In-depth knowledge of SQL Server 2000 & 2005 including all of:
o SQL Server Enterprise Manager
o Query Analyser
o SQL Reporting Services
o SQL driven queries
o SQL Scripts
• Access
• Excel
• Database Management
Please note the above experience is essential, you require all of the above to be eligible for this role.
Desirable:
The following experience is desirable, but not essential:
• Property sector experience. Previous experience in the property sector is highly desirable and would certainly catapult you to the top of the shortlist!
• Crystal Reports
• Experience of Yardi database software
• Experience of APB property software
ROLE:
As this is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, you will receive all the same benefits a permanent employee would. The role resides in the fund accounting team for the purpose of UK and European Fund reporting production and analysis. The role focuses heavily on SQL Server and consists of a wide range of duties, mainly DBA-style management and administration, but including some design and implementation of database solutions in addition. The in-house database is bespoke.
