Do you have:
• The ability to provide clear, effective and consistent leadership with an open, motivating and inspirational style
• A management track record of achieving targets and objectives in sales, logistics or distribution
• The will and experience to ensure that targets are met, and cash-handling and administrative systems are operating efficiently throughout your region;
• Excellent communication skills, including presentation, negotiation, influencing and advocacy skills
• The ability to manage & build effective relationships with other organisations and relevant bodies, councils & the Police to develop opportunities for homeless people
If this is you, you could be the person we are looking for to lead our Distribution operations!
A key objective will be to consolidate and develop The Big Issue’s circulation & presence on the streets. You will lead a small team responsible for all aspects of distribution, sales and external networking in your region to raise The Big Issue’s profile. The role is an opportunity to apply your imagination & flair for innovation to achieving our strategic vision.
You will need to be based in your region, willing to travel extensively, have a full, clean driving licence and proficiency in Excel, Word & Outlook. A commitment to the commercial and social objectives of The Big Issue is essential.
