Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Nurse with at least 2 years Rehabilitation experience, to join the Neurorehabilitation Unit within a presitigous hospital based in London.
This is a permanent position
Full time - 37.5 hrs a week
Some Duties include:
-To assess, plan and deliver a high standard of nursing care.
-Demonstrate good clinical practice at all times and to be accountable for own actions.
-Carry out nursing duties as requested by senior
staff.
-Undertake extended role such as IV cannulation, phlebotomy.
-Promote good communication amongst staff and all team members.
-Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
-Supervise and direct junior staff, promoting a learning environment.
-Respect and ensure privacy and confidentiality.
The ideal candidate will have:
-at least 2 years post registration experience in rehabilitation and medical management.
-Mentorship course would be an advantage
-Good verbal and non verbal communication
-Health and safety training
-Manual handling
-Able to do internal rotation
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse Level 1
NMC Registration
Mentorship course would be an advantage
Experience:
The ideal candidate must have at least 1 years post registration experience in Neuro rehabilitation.
