Ideally looking for:
• Current student or recent graduate having studied a computer-based design degree and looking to build a portfolio
• Or freelance web/graphic designer willing to work in-house a few days a week and work directly with us

What You Will Be Doing:
• Liaising directly with our sales and marketing team taking on ideas and creative direction and development of the website.
• You will be given tasks to improve sections or areas of the website and will be required to create and implement styles and designs in short timescales (usually within a day).
This will involve:
* Gathering requirements
* Quickly creating and modifying mock-up images
* Implementing those images into accessible XHTML and CSS and exporting optimized graphics where necessary.
* Liaising with developers to implement your designs into the current CSS and PHP pages
• You will also work closely with the development team to refine the current designs css and xhtml
• and ensure new designs are implement within, or as logical extensions, to current frameworks.

Essential Skills
• Strong knowledge of XHTML, CSS and browser-related issues.
• Ability to create and manipulate graphics confidently and to a high standard.
• Proven experience gained either through your academic studies or commercial experience.
• Ability to work to deadlines both independently and within a team environment.
• Excellent communication and language skills
• Good work ethic and the ability and willingness to learn new technologies, systems and processes.

Desired Skills
• PHP, PEAR, MySQL, and JavaScript
• Experience with the creation of email marketing campaigns and html emails
• Experience with some or all of the following: Photoshop , Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Flash.
